Why are golf carts not allowed at the masters?
I’ve noticed that everyone walks, and my mother said they weren’t allowed to have golf carts.
Why is this?
Golf carts are not allowed at any Pga tournament . There is one exception . Casey vs. the PGA , the supreme court ruled that PGA must allow a handicapped golfer the use of a cart provided they competed evenly in every other manner i.e. low scores , shots ect. Casey had a disorder involving his leg where is was too bad to walk let alone compete but was very good at the game . Most golfers welcomed him as they could see how hard it was for him to walk and knew the cart wasn’t giving him a competitive edge.
